My November Inspiration List

Rounding up everything I've been enjoying this month in my November inspiration list

Looking for some new recommendations to sink your teeth into? Here’s everything that I’ve been enjoying and finding inspiration in throughout November!

It’s been a fair amount of time since I rounded up my favourites to share with you but this month I just felt like taking things a little old school! I’ve been doing a spot of reflection on some of the things I’ve been watching, reading and listening to which have been inspiring me in case you’re looking for a bout of motivation too!

What I’ve Been Listening to

Something that I’ve been looking at within my career lately is how I can make the transition from freelancer to business owner and luckily for me, Sara and Jen spoke about this very topic in a recent episode of Letters From a Hopeful Creative!

I’ve been loving Callie Thorpe’s new podcast, The Confidence Corner and in this episode she chats to Sarah Akwisombe all about confidence in business which is something that I definitely need to work on!

I’m a big fan of Fearne Cotton and have loved listening to her podcast, Happy Place since it launched so this month I really enjoyed getting to see her in the opposite role as a guest in this recent episode of Elizabeth Day’s podcast, How to Fail. As someone who I would consider to be largely successful it was super interesting to hear about some of Fearne’s failures and how they’ve helped to shape her life so far.

I found myself really resonating with this episode of Let’s Discuss as Ella and Monica discussed career crisis and what to do when you don’t feel like your on the right path. As someone who has been feeling a little lost with their work recently, it really helped to hear that other people have been through similar experiences even though there may not be a one size fits all solution.

What I’ve Been Reading

Setting up The Co-Working Club Book Club has meant that I’ve been making my way through more business books than usual, we’re currently reading Playing Big by Tara Mohr which I’m really enjoying so far and I’m hoping will give me the kick I need to stop holding back in my career and really go after what I want!

Sophie wrote about How to Find More Joy in Your Work which I found really useful as I’m currently moving through a pivot in my business and attempting to bring in services and offerings that I find more enjoyment in providing.

I found myself really resonating with Michelle’s post about Treating Life Like it’s a Dress Rehearsal and subsequently have vowed to make some changes to be a little more spontaneous and embrace the unknown!

I have absolutely loved watching Victoria’s transition with her business over the past three months so finding out more about her experience working with a life coach and discovering her purpose was a really interesting read.

What I’ve Been Watching

On a recent Netflix peruse I came across Shine on With Reese which sees Reese Witherspoon meeting up with a whole host of inspiring women to chat about their careers so far. I’m rationing the episodes as they’re only twenty minutes long but so far I’ve loved the episode with Dolly Parton and Pink!=

A documentary I watched this month was The Game Changers which examines plant based diets, protein and strength. After doing some research, the experiments and stats should all be taken with a pinch of salt but the overall concept is an interesting one and really got me thinking about my dietary habits and there effect on the planet.

I recently discovered business coach Erin May Henry and subsequently stumbled across her YouTube channel, on which she creates videos sharing a behind the scenes look at the life of a female entrepreneur. From productivity hacks to motivational advice, Erin covers topics which business owners face on a daily basis and watching her content always leaves me feeling inspired and energised!

Where Have you been finding your inspiration this month? I’d love to hear any recommendations!
