As mentioned in my previous post I spent last weekend in Nottingham and whilst there we decided to take a trip to the newly opened Bills to get some breakfast.
I’ve visited Bill’s before when I’ve been in London and Brighton but I’m pretty darn excited to have a branch that’s much closer and way more convenient to get my pancake fix!
Bill’s is situated in a beautiful old Georgian building on Queen Street which was formerly a bank. I just love the rustic interiors of all of the Bill’s restaurants, the decor is just my taste and if I could move straight in I would!
As it was brunch time I of course opted for the blueberry pancakes which were lovelyyy, and felt slightly more healthy than the usual bacon option due to the inclusion of some fruit! They were actually incredibly filling and sadly I struggled to finish all three pancakes so they had to be palmed off to a certain someone…I also had an iced coffee which I seem to be getting a slight addiction to at the moment! Adam went for the eggs benedict and a big old pot of tea!
I really love the chilled out, relaxed atmosphere of Bills and there is no doubt that we will be making countless trips back in the not so distant future – especially to try out the evening menu and we also spotted an afternoon tea that looked tasty!
