Top – Topshop
I’ve just got back from spending a longgg weekend in Nottingham which has been just lovely! The weather was amazing so a lot of time was spent outdoors walking, bike riding and chilling in the sun – but of course there was still time for some shopping!
This skirt from Topshop was one of the new things I picked up, I just love the tile-esque print of it and the orangey-red summery tones. I kept the top half of the outfit pretty simple with a blue-ish/grey washed pocket tee, also from Topshop. These are such a bargain at only twelve pounds each, so versatile and easy to style with a variety of bottoms and the material is actually really lovely and soft! I think I’ll definitely be picking up a couple more of these in a few different colours in the coming weeks!
My navy Superga pumps were starting to look a little worse for wear so I decided to treat myself to a new pair, these cream crochet pair caught my eye and they are going to be perfect for summer! I love Superga pumps as they are a lot more delicate looking than trainers and work well teamed with dresses and skirts as well as jeans and shorts!
I thought that this outfit was the ideal choice for a lovely, summery evening which was spent by the lake with a picnic (I won’t mention the part where we got chased away from our idyllic spot by geese).
