Highlights From the Week

So last week was my birthday, I turned the grand old age of 24 which is a little scary, where is the time going?! Adam and I took the whole week off work as we haven’t had any holidays yet this year so were definitely due some chill out time. We had initially planned to go away somewhere but as my birthday fell in the school holidays everything was a little on the pricey side. We still managed to pack the week out with fun things and catch up with family and friends too!

My Mum went all out with my Birthday tea party this year and created this amazing outdoor tent along with so much delicious picnic food! It was such a lovely space to chill out in especially as the sun started to set and the candles and fairy lights came out in full force. I’m not sure any future birthday parties can top this one!

I headed out on my Birthday eve to Manchester with my gals for some food and cocktails which was just lovely! I picked up a gorgeous dress from Topshop for the occasion which is quite different to anything I’d usually choose, I’m definitely going to be featuring this in an outfit post ASAP!

ASOS really know how to treat a gal on her Birthday so I made sure to make use of my 20% off code. I picked up these River Island espadrilles which I’ve had my eye on for a while, they’re going to be just perfect for summer!

We took a trip to Bill’s for breakfast and *NEWS FLASH* I didn’t order the pancakes, shock horror! I was trying to be slightly healthier so decided to go for the granola with fruit and yoghurt which was just as delicious but without quite as much of the guilt! I had to get my standard peach iced tea too which is my absolute faveee.

Yesterday we were pleasantly surprised with the weather, it turned out to be a real scorcher so we spent the afternoon chilling in the garden before meeting some friends at the pub for a drink. The perfect Sunday!

I actually ended up picking up my camera and doing a spot of vlogging throughout last week so if you fancy taking a peak at what I got up to be sure to give it a watch and I’d love it if you subscribed too!
