This week has mainly consisted of preparations at work (for those of you who don’t know I currently work for ao.com as a Junior Content Editor for their blog AO Life) for our ‘Introduction to Clean Living’ event which was held on Friday in London. We worked with the lovely Naturally Sassy who was our clean living expert for the day and showed us all an amazing recipe which was Cheese-less Cheesy Quesadillas, yum!
The venue was really nice and had a real rustic feel to it which is my favourite, they had a crate bar which I absolutely loved! Styling up the room was one of my designated jobs and I had a great time decorating with copious amounts of hessian, fresh flowers and jam jars.
We were joined by some really lovely bloggers who all seemed to have a great day taking part in our planned activities which consisted of a yoga session and food master-class lead by Sassy.
There was plenty of deliciously healthy food served throughout the day although I was pretty sad I didn’t have chance to tuck into one of these flapjacks as they looked amazing!
Overall I think the day was a big success! It certainly was a long one as I didn’t get home from London until half past eleven (naughty trains) so since I’ve been having a very chilled weekend for the first time in a while. A Sunday morning spent in pj’s catching up on my YouTube subscription box and doing a spot of blogging is well deserved I think!
